I'm Tori. My last name is Nygren, which means "new branch" in Swedish. No, I'm not Vietnamese. But yes, my last name does look like Nguyen.

Director. Creative Director. Writer. Producer. These are some of the words I use to describe myself. I love creating work that moves you to feel something. Ads that don’t feel like ads. Ads that show up in real life as experiences, products, or entertainment that grabs you. Currently, I help teams create work that matches what they imagined, closing the gap between ambition and final execution. The result? Attention grabbing campaigns that place brands at the heart of cultural moments.

I started my career at Lincoln Center before moving into the agency world at Droga5 where I worked for 3.5 years. After that I freelanced at various agencies in New York before heading west for a role at Uber where I worked on integrated and experiential campaigns, including the award-winning Ride and Dine Bus. In 2019, I co-founded Hogwash Studios, a female-owned, creative studio based in Miami. The Hogwash mission is to sidestep the nonsense & bureaucracy of the industry that gets in the way of great work.

Outside of work I host a monthly dance party called Disco Domingo Miami, I can be found profusely sweating at yoga, Barry’s or volleyball; and I spend an inordinate amount of time playing toss at the dog park.
